Intrinsically Safe Helmet Beacon Light For Underground Coal Mines and Petrochemical Applications The RHB10G1-Ex is an Intrinsically Safe LED Helmet Beacon and is designed for Underground Hardrock Mines and Tunnels. It is IECEx Certified for underground coal mines and petrochemical environments.They are perfect for highlighting your presence, making you clearly visible and safe at all times. It is powered by an coin battery and can be used until the battery goes flat. The battery cannot be replaced as opening the unit would void the IECEx certficate . There are three signal modes: Slow flashing, fast flashing and Steady. You can turn it on or off or set the operating modes by pressing the push-button. The LED Beacon can be easily attached to your helmet. They are light-weight and the signal can be seen for approximately 100 metres underground.
